By using Formcord, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the service. Continued use of Formcord constitutes acceptance of the most recent version of these terms.
Formcord is a form system integrated with Discord, designed to help server owners and communities collect and manage structured data from their members. The service is intended for lawful and responsible use only.
Users are responsible for all activity conducted through their use of Formcord. This includes ensuring that any form content, settings, or data collection methods comply with all applicable laws, including data protection laws in the regions where your respondents reside.
You may not:
Form creators are expected to act responsibly and ethically with the data they collect. Formcord provides tools to collect and manage user data, but does not take responsibility for how that data is used or misused once in your control.
You retain ownership of the content and data you collect using Formcord. However, by using the platform, you grant Formcord permission to store, process, and back up that data for operational and security purposes.
Form data may be accessed by authorized users within your Discord server who have been granted dashboard access—by default, this includes users with the “Manage Server” permission. It is your responsibility to manage access within your team appropriately.
Formcord enforces several operational limits, including but not limited to: the number of forms you can create, the number of responses a form can store, the number of steps within a form, and the number of blocks within each step. Additional limits may apply to features like form RBAC (role-based access control).
Custom slugs for forms and guilds must be appropriate and must not contain misleading, offensive, or impersonating content. Any slug that violates these rules may be removed or replaced without warning.
Formcord stores responses for a limited duration based on your plan. After this period, responses are permanently deleted. It is your responsibility to export or back up your form responses before they are removed from the system.
Formcord may message users via Discord using the OAuth scopes granted during authentication. These messages are only used for product features such as responding to appeals, confirming form submissions, or other authorized actions. By using the platform, you acknowledge that such messaging may occur.
Formcord Premium is a subscription-based offering that grants access to advanced features and increased usage limits. It is purchased on a per-guild basis, meaning that the subscription applies only to the specific Discord server (guild) selected at the time of purchase. The premium license allows that guild to use exclusive features reserved for subscribers.
Each Formcord Premium subscription is non-transferable between guilds and does not apply to individual user accounts. It is your responsibility to ensure you are purchasing the subscription for the correct guild. By subscribing, you agree that Formcord may verify your server ownership or administrative permissions before enabling premium features.
Formcord Premium is non-refundable. All purchases are considered final, regardless of usage, server activity, or changes in feature availability. Users are responsible for verifying their guild selection and understanding the scope of the subscription prior to completing the purchase.
Formcord reserves the right to modify the benefits, pricing, or availability of Formcord Premium at any time, though reasonable notice will be provided where possible. Misuse of premium features, including attempts to bypass guild restrictions or share access with unauthorized users, may result in immediate suspension or revocation of the subscription without refund.
Any attempt to bypass Formcord Premium limits—such as creating multiple Discord servers solely for the purpose of exploiting free-tier limits, migrating form usage to non-premium guilds, or distributing forms from unauthorized guilds—will result in immediate termination of access for the involved servers and may lead to permanent suspension of associated accounts or bots.
Formcord is offered on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. While efforts are made to provide a reliable and secure experience, no guarantees are made about uptime, data integrity, or uninterrupted access.
Creating additional Discord servers for the purpose of avoiding Formcord's rate limits, usage policies, or Premium licensing—such as distributing forms or handling submissions from unlicensed guilds—will be considered an abuse of the service. Such behavior may result in immediate termination of access for the involved servers and could lead to permanent suspension of related user accounts.
Accounts, bots, or server access may be suspended or terminated at any time if these terms are violated, or if your activity is deemed abusive or harmful to the platform or its users. Violations may include unauthorized data scraping, form abuse, or bypassing limits. Termination may also occur at the sole discretion of the developer even if the specific reason is not explicitly mentioned in these Terms of Service. This is to ensure flexibility in handling unforeseen or malicious behavior that could impact the integrity of the platform.
If you believe your access was terminated unfairly, you may appeal by sending an email to support@formcord.app.
The developer of Formcord is not liable for any damages resulting from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, unauthorized access, or interruptions in service. Use of Formcord is at your own risk.
These terms may be updated at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the website or service interface. Continued use of Formcord after such updates constitutes agreement to the new terms.
Formcord is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc. Any use of the Discord API is done in accordance with Discord’s Developer Terms of Service. The use of the word "Discord" or any related terminology is purely for the purpose of describing platform compatibility and does not imply any official connection or relationship.
